What Must I Do to Be Saved?
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

1. You Must Believe in the One True God
Many claim to believe, but live as if God is not watching. The Bible is clear—God is holy, just, and all-knowing.
“The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”
—Psalm 145:17
Prophecies prove God’s Word. Consider these:
“They pierced my hands and my feet.”
—Psalm 22:16
“He was wounded for our transgressions…”
—Isaiah 53:5
“They shall look upon me whom they have pierced…”
—Zechariah 12:10
2. You Must Believe in God’s Plan
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
—James 2:19
Believing in Jesus as a person isn’t enough. You must believe and trust in in His plan of redemption:
“For the Son of man is come… to give his life a ransom for many.”
—Mark 10:45
“Christ died for our sins… he was buried… and… rose again the third day.”

3. You Must Trust Jesus as Your Only Hope
Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. His blood alone is pure and able to save.
“He… knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
—2 Corinthians 5:21
He died, was buried, and rose again—proving His power to give you new life:
“Even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
—Romans 6:4
4. You Can Be Saved Today
Salvation is not earned. It’s a gift. If you will turn from sin and trust Jesus, He will save you.
“Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
—John 6:37
“Let us… come boldly unto the throne of grace…”
—Hebrews 4:16
“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
—Romans 10:13
Final Thought
You don’t need perfect words or a perfect life. You need faith in a perfect Savior.
If God is dealing with your heart today, don’t delay. Call upon the Lord Jesus Christ—He is mighty to save.
